Reverend David Leroy Gordon II, a beloved husband, father, brother, and pastor, passed away peacefully on May 6th at the age of 69.

Born to Doris Selfridge and David Gordon, on January 1st in Ardmore, the doctor had to be pulled out of church for the delivery. David was born into a family that eventually grew to have 12 cousins which they named themselves "The Dirty Dozen" The cousins while scattered across many states remain close to this day. Charlotte Ann Avens was born September 29, 1945 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Hilda (Burton) and Sam Brown. She passed from this life Friday, May 2, 2025 at her home in Ryan at the age of 79. She was a caregiver and worked for home health for many years. Her favorite things to do were collecting photos, keeping a pretty yard, dancing, and most of all taking care of the elderly.
