Vici Ianthe Grimes was born October 5, 1948 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Victor and June (Derr) Grimes. She passed from this life August 14, 2022 in Oklahoma City at the age of 73. She was a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Vici received her Masters in Nutrition and Worked as the Director of Child Nutrition for Stillwater Public Schools. Her twin sister Mici passed away in 1980 and her husband Jerry passed in 1991. Vici raised her nephew Colin from the time he was 12. She was a Methodist. RA Grimes Vici's grandfather was instrumental in founding the First United Methodist Church in Waurika.
Survivors include her nephew Colin Autin and wife Melissa, grandchildren - Emma, Marley, and Caroline Autin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister - Mici Minith Autin.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 3:00PM at the First United Methodist Church in Waurika with Rev. Curtis Plant officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Homes in Waurika.
