Tommy Claude Cunningham

Tommy Claude Cunningham was born June 16, 1951 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Claude David and Billie Joyce (Pounds) Cunningham. He passed from this life January 30, 2024 at his home in Hastings, Oklahoma at the age of 72. He graduated from Walters High School in 1970. He and Margaret (Van Dunk) were married August 10, 2021 at the old country church at Beaver Point in Hastings, Oklahoma. His only daughter Trina Jo, was born to Tommy and Brenda on 4/18/1978. Tommy worked in harvest, oil field, and welding. He enjoyed his cows, and his dogs, dancing, and playing pool, and having an annual fish fry. He worked for Brady Drilling until his retirement from the oil field. He always had juicy fruit gum and would give all the kids a half a piece.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Cunningham of the home, his daughter Trina "T.J." Skinner and husband Michael, his brothers Clyde Cunningham and Claudine, Ricky Cunningham and his wife Lois, Jerry Cunningham, Timmy "Wolfie" Cunningham, Jeff Cunningham, Joe Cunningham and wife Becky, sisters - Joy Griffin and husband David, Michelle Taylor and Tobi, Kim Frazier and husband Richard. Grandchildren - Rachel McCurry, Morgan McCurry, James McCurry, Willow Skinner, Kyden Santiago, Rexton Santiago, Harper Santiago, great grandchildren - Delta Stewart, Mavis Williams, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his dad - Claude David 4/6/1987, his mom - Billie Cunningham Prentis 7/23/2004, brother - Billy Bob 8/17/2014, and sister - Tammie Dawn Riley 2/21/2017.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church in Waurika. Burial will be in the Ringling Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-6PM.
