Terri Beth (Thurman) Brown passed from this life on July 1, 2025 at the age of 67. She was predeceased by her parents Wayne and Lois Thurman and her Brother-in-law Robert Beavers. Father-in-law George Brown and Mother-in-law Mary Brown. Niece Sheila Rowlland of Oklahoma City. She is survived by her husband of the home Chuck Brown. Her daughter Jennifer with husband Fred Richards and daughters Addison, Brooklyn, and Cameron of Duncan. Her daughter Ashley and husband Brent Van Rite and sons Blake, Max, and Cooper Edmond, Her sister Judy Beavers of Oklahoma City along with Christie McCullogh and husband Ryan, Micheal Beavers and wife Megan of Wyoming. Her sister Ann Myers and husband Kirk of Broken Arrow along with her children Heather and Joshua Jones of Tulsa, Michelle and Robby Sharp of Tulsa, and Wendy Alexander of Tulsa. Her brother James and Suzette Thurman of Sydney, Australia along with two children Stephen and Harrison. Brother-in-law Russ and wife Linda Brown of Oklahoma City. Sister-in-law Toby Walker and husband Phillip along with Coleman Walker, Brooks Walker and wife BettyAnn.
Terri's family takes great comfort in knowing where she is going and that she is not suffering anymore. Terri will be missed by many she loved to volunteer in her community. She loved to help her Waurika First Baptist Church and her local Food Bank. She would drive many people in need to their varied appointments in and out of town, She worked for the farmers in this county for 32 years at Farm Service Agency. Her farmers were part of her family along with many children that Chuck and Terri would adopt as their own. She volunteered for Youth Events and Vacation Bible School. She helped on Wednesday nights and helped her husband in his teaching career. She would adopt his students as easily as he did. She just loved people no matter what. She was a great mother, grandmother, and spouse. She will be truly missed by her family.
A Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church in Waurika.
