Sherry Ann Riddles a cherished mother, grandmother/great grandmother (Meme), and devoted woman of faith, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Monday, June 9, 2025, in Mansfield, TX surrounded by her family. Her life was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering faith, leaving behind a legacy that will forever inspire those who knew her.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 15th, at the Ryan Oklahoma cemetery. Reverend Gary Roberts will be officiating. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan.

Sherry was born April 18, 1934, in Pauls Valley Oklahoma to H. H. "Dick" and Beatrice Harrison. She married the love of her life, Jack Riddles, on November 26, 1958. Together they raised two daughters. Sherry retired from TERM Billing and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Mansfield, Texas. Her faith in God was the foundation of her life. She lived each day with grace, kindness, and an unwavering trust in the Lord. Sherry truly displayed God's love in everything she did--through her words, her actions, and how she loved and served others, especially her family. Sherry was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack (10.20.2020), her parents, Dick and Bea Harrison; her brother, Bob Harrison; her beloved sister Leah Rich, her nephew Kenny Rich, her special sister-in-law Alta Pearce and her cherished mother-in-law and father-in-law, William 'Willie' Ashley and Ella Grace Riddles.

Sherry dedicated her life to nurturing her family. Her role as a mother and 'meme' was marked by unconditional love, wisdom, and joy. She was the heart of our family, always ready with a kiss on the check, a kind word, or a gentle laugh. Her faith guided her actions and decisions, and she lived with grace, compassion, and a spirit of generosity. Her strength and determination were evident in everything she did, and she faced life's challenges with courage and dignity. Everyone who knew Meme couldn't help but love her. She was a true angel on this earth--kind, humble, and full of compassion. Her life was a living example of real faith and what it means to walk daily with Jesus.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother/Meme, and great-grandmother/Meme, and nothing brought her more joy than her family. She especially loved and adored her great-grandsons--River, Cade, and Jhett--and played an active role in helping care for them as they were blessed to live in the same town. She rarely missed a sporting event throughout their lives, proudly cheering them on from the sidelines. "We'll miss you forever, Meme. But your fire lives on in all three of us. We can't wait to see you again one day. Until then, we will keep showing up... just like you did. Your boys, River, Cade and Jhett" "Well done, good and faithful servant." -- Matthew 25:23

Sherry is survived by her two daughters: Dee Ann Roberts and husband Gary Roberts; Jackie Lynn Willett and husband Nate Willett. Sherry is also survived by her dearest sister-in-law, Ramona Armstrong and her husband, Rex, as well as her niecesGinger Fitzgerald (Rocky), Suzanne Burlison and nephew Jay Armstrong (Dawn), Pamela Evans (Donnie), Janice Alexander (Keith). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren: Shannon, Stephenie, Ashley, Josh, Caleb, Chris, Ryan, Shelly and Jared along with some bonus grandchildren: Adrienne, Lauren and Josh. She has 21 great grandchildren that she adored and 3 great great grandchildren.

Sherry loved Jesus and her family. During her last years she enjoyed Jackie taking her riding around at night to stop by and visit (from the car) with Ashley, Ryan and the boys. She treasured her nightly calls with her niece, Pam until she was unable to communicate effectively the last few months. She loved all her recent visits, in the last few years, from her niece Ginger and grand niece Ivy. Pam and Ginger could make her laugh so easily. She admired and appreciated her nephew, Jay, for keeping the family burial plot well groomed (Donnie and Pam would spend hours arranging flowers each season). She talked about who would take care of 'it' when Jay quits, and I just reassured her that Jay never would!

Though she is no longer physically with us here, MeMe's spirit will continue to guide and inspire. We find comfort in knowing she is at peace, embraced by the love she so freely shared throughout her life.
