Robert "Bob" Leslie Martin

Robert Leslie, "Bob" Martin was born January 11, 1942 in Hobbs, NM, to Leslie L. and Phyllis E. (Johnston) Martin. He entered into his Eternal home in Heaven, on September 15, 2024 in Norman, OK, at the age of 82. A memorial service will be held on October 12,2024 at the Comanche First United Methodist Church, with Pastor Randy Southerland officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Inurnment, with military honors will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Jenene, of the home; a son, Ryan Martin and wife Teressa, Lyndon, KS: a daughter, Shannon McCollum and husband Darin, Blue Springs, MO; two step daughters: Julee Caudill and husband Doug, Piedmont, OK, and Jeana Parker and husband Gavan, Yukon, OK; a brother, Don Martin and wife Lana, Neosho, MO; sister in law, Dixie Martin, Perryville, AR; and a brother in law, Buddy Bowles and wife Kathy, Duncan, OK; six grandchildren: Taylor Martin, Riley Martin, Regan Martin, Jacob McCollum, Dylan McCollum, and Ella McCollum; and five step grandchildren: Chaysee Caudill, Channing Caudill, Chesnie Caudill, Lindee Parker, and Landynn Parker.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Martin and Phyllis Eleanor Johnston Martin Sumpter; and one brother, Norman Martin.
