Robert Franklin Wilkinson was born in Gas City, Oklahoma, July 8, 1934, to Edgar and Effie Mae (McNabb) Wilkinson. He married Cynthia Darlene Henderson from Waurika, Oklahoma, November 28, 1958. They had two daughters, Robin Elaine and Mary Lynette. Bobby worked for Joe Adair Electric in Wichita Falls, Texas, for a number of years before moving to Burkburnett, Texas, to work for Ameron Fiberglass Pipe Division where he later retired in 1996.

Bobby enjoyed drag races and going fishing, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his family. He especially loved playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was always working on projects for the grand kids such as a play house, a sandbox or new swings.

Bobby is preceded in death by both parents, his brother David, sisters Lorene, Dovie, Mary and infant Bonnel. He is survived by his wife Darlene Wilkinson of Waurika, Oklahoma, daughters Robin Winther and her husband David William Winther of Yuba City, California, Lynette Bost and her husband Kevin Carl Bost of Byers, Texas, his sister Vonsiel Abel of Burkburnett, Texas, and a brother Edgar William (J.R.) Wilkinson, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Texas.

Bobby had ten grandchildren - Robert Saxon Winther, Matthias Samuel Winther, Sebastian Franklin Winther and Sheradin Ariel Winther all of Yuba City, California, Bradley Allen Hardy of Burkburnett, Texas, Brandon Dallas Hardy of Wichita Falls, Texas, Kaleb Aubrey Bost of Haskell, Texas, Kaden William Bost, Noah LaVelle Bost and Selena Cheyenne Bost all of Byers,Texas.

Bobby had six great-grandchildren - Dana Grace Hardy, Brandon Dallas Hardy, Jr. and Andrew Allen Hardy of Byers, Texas, Reighlynn Elizabeth Winther of Yuba City, California, David Matthias Winther of Vacaville, California, and Matthias Raj Winther of Nicolaus, California.

Bobby was a member of the Wichita Falls Church of Christ.

A celebration of life come and go luncheon will be held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Sunday April
30th at:
