Nancy Kay (Williams) Torrez

Nancy Kay Williams Torrez was born September 19, 1953 in Sugden, Oklahoma to Willard and Gladys (Bussey) Williams. She passed from this life Friday, September 25, 2026 at Duncan Regional Hospital at the age of 73.
She and Frank Torrez were married December 10, 1977 in Henrietta, Texas. He preceded her in death on January 26, 2020.
She was a caregiver for most of her adult life working in private care, for Ryan and Waurika Nursing Homes, and Jefferson County Hospital. She loved to sew, craft, and quilt. She enjoyed making Indian doll dresses and her children's Halloween costumes. She and Frank enjoyed dancing in their younger years. She also enjoyed fishing and teaching her kids to fish. She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and attended the Assembly of God Church in Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, and 8 siblings.

She is survived by her children, Greg Smith, Frankie Torrez, Ramona Torrez, Dominga Poage and husband Joshua, Florencia and husband Victor Ruiz and Margie Herrera; ten grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and several other family and friends.

Funeral service for Mrs. Torrez will be Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 11:00AM at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Ricky Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Sugden Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Viewing will be from 5-7PM Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Dudley Funeral Home.
