Nancy Ellen (Alexander) Jones

Nancy Ellen Jones, of Duncan, peacefully passed away late Tuesday evening, February 4, 2025 in an Oklahoma City hospital. She was 78 years old. A funeral service will be held Friday morning, February 7th at 10:00 a.m. at First Freewill Baptist Church in Duncan. Interment will follow at Loco Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.

Nancy was born November 3, 1946 in Duncan, OK to Dick and Cleo (Dunn) Alexander. She was a 1964 graduate of Loco High School. She worked for many years at WalMart. She liked listening to gospel music, and enjoyed fishing and going to the lake, and she also loved feeding the deer. Nancy loved collecting elephants, and she loved going to the casino, and playing Bingo.

Survivors include her two daughters: Kelda Perkins, and Kerri Shattuck and husband Shawn. Two sisters: Rita Colman and Peggy Odom. Also five grandchildren: Zackary Hudson and wife Lili; Tiffany Firestone and husband Kyle; Cody Goggans ; Kasidy Pemberton and fiancee Roman Martinez; and Azya Pemberton; and six great-grandchildren: Layla, Carter, Landrie, Izzy, Brooks, and Fowler; and several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bill Alexander, and a very special friend, Anna Strange.

Serving as pallbearers will Kaleb Perkins, Kevin Howell, Zackary Hudson, Kyle Firestone, Cody Goggans, and Roman Martinez.
