Nancy Ann Hillery

Nancy Ann Hillery was born September 4,1939 in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Anna (Schieber) and Ernest Walter Kunneman. She passed from this life Monday, December 11,2023 at the age of 84 surrounded by family. Nancy was raised and graduated high school in El Reno, Oklahoma, and went on to graduate from Oklahoma State University in 1961, where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority. She and Robert (Bob) Lambuth Hillery were married November 18,1961 in El Reno, Oklahoma (62 years). She had a long career as a Medical Technologist and loved her job helping others. She also owned and operated The Monogram Shoppe in Wichita Falls, TX for 25 + years, along with her family. She was actively involved on the ranch and enjoyed her beautiful longhorn herd. Some of her hobbies included painting, crafting, reading, and traveling but mostly, Nancy loved doing what her children and Bob enjoyed. She is survived by her husband Bob, her children - Leesa Lemon and her husband Matt and Brent Hillery and wife Lynda , grandchildren - Peyton Hillery Dumbauld and husband Nick, Hillery LeeAnn Lemon, and Braden Lambuth Hillery. A burial service will be held Saturday, December 16,2023 at 11:00am at Waurika Cemetery, followed by a celebration of life and visitation with family and friends at the United Methodist Church of Waurika, noon-1:30pm.
