Maria Luisa Gomez Rangel

Maria Luisa Gomez Rangel was born September 2, 1951 in Juan Aldama Zac, Mexico to Antonio Rangel and Juana (Rios). She passed from this life January 27, 2024 at her home in Waurika surrounded by family and friends at the age of 73. She and Fliliberto Gomez Hernandez were married October 1, 1966 in Juan Aldama Zac, Mexico. She was a homemaker and mother of 12. She was a Catholic. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed hosting traditional cultural events for family. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 children - Jose, Lucio, Jose, Leticia, Pablo in 1994 and Lorena in 2017, siblings Maria de Jesus Frayre and Tomasa Rangel. She is survived by her husband Filiberto, children -Jaime Gomez and wife Regina, Alfredo Gomez and Ana Marie, Filiberto Gomez, Lourdes Garcia and husband Antonio, Blanca Elvia Gomez and Antonio Reyes, Ana Lilia Gomez and husband Fausto Garcia, siblings - Amador Rangel, Andrea Solis, Maria Imelda Rangel, and Emeterio Rangel, grandchildren - Desiray Castro, Maria Guadalupe Gomez Elkins, Robert Gomez, Ana Luisa Gomez, Mayra Rodriguez, Nicholas Gomez, Noah Gomez Antonio Gomez, Odalys Rodriguez, Jocelyn Rodriguez, Edwin Garcia, Ricardo Galvan, Kevin Garcia, Angel Garcia, Quinton Gomez, Lluvia Reyes, Mia Garcia, Jaden Gomez, Antonio Reyes, Juan Garcia, Jonathon Gomez, Ashley Gomez, Natalie Gomez, Sebastian Gomez, Alisson Gomez and Myla Gomez, great grandchildren - Fernando, Abril, Santiago, Camila, Alejandro, Max, Hooper, Sofia, Angel, Kenia, Mayra, Easton, Nevaeh, Elaina, Maverick, Ian, Anabella, and Sara Michelle, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Mrs. Gomez Rangel will be Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at noon at Assumption Catholic Church in Duncan.. Viewing will be Sunday from 1-3PM and Monday from 1-7PM at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be from 6-7PM Monday at Dudley Funeral Home. Interment will be in Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
