Judy Irene (Stewart) Powers

Judy Irene Stewart Powers, a longtime resident of Comanche, passed away early Tuesday morning, March 17, 2026 at her home. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church, with Bro. Billy Morgan officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Viewing will be Monday and Tuesday, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Judy was born May 21, 1945 in Waurika, OK. She and Jim Powers were united in marriage on April 17, 1981 in Chickasha, OK. She worked as a bank teller at Security National Bank and Trust for over twenty years. She loved to spend time with her family, especially at the lake. She and Jim loved to go fishing. Judy also loved shopping with her best friends, Linda and Cindy.

Survivors include her husband, James Harvey "Jim" Powers, of the home; siblings: Jimmy Stewart , Johnny Hare, and Eunice McRoy; her children: Gina Sololmon and husband Greg, Heather Miller and husband Chad, and Shellee Graham and husband Jim; her grandchildren: Micca Barnett and husband Steve, Makensi Cook and husband Brandon, Chace Fitzgerald and wife Sharon, Jose Garza, Stone Fitzgerald and wife Jade, Hailey Shockley and husband Ian, Christian Miller, Hannah Miller, Sarah Graham, and Kyle Solomon; also her great-grandchildren: Jackson Barnett, Baylor Cook, and Reese Fitzgerald; daughter in law, Kim Fitzgerald; also her two best friends, Linda Schultz and Cindy Dawson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Greg Fitzgerald.
