Joan (Shoffner) Dunham

Joan Dunham was born March 30, 1942 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Fred and Jewell Schramm Shoffner. She passed from this life Sunday, February 1, 2026 at her home South of Waurika at the age of 83. She married Bobby Dunham in Ryan, Oklahoma in June of 1958. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2022. She and Bobby owned and operated the Ryan Cash Grocery for many years. Joan and her family raised parakeets and ostriches for 11 years. She was a person of many talents. She loved painting, crafts, gardening, and cooking.

She is survived by her sons - Johnny Dunham and wife Brenda of Ryan and Jeffrey Dunham and wife Candy of Sugden, twin sister Jean Shoffner of Sugden and Judy Taft of Duncan, grandchildren, Jennifer Dunham, Jamie Bitner, Julie Ann Hartley and Jeanette Munoz, and 8 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Memorial service for Mrs. Dunham will be Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 12:30 at Irving Baptist Church. Memorial service will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
