Helen Rose (Owens) Smith was born December 18, 1946 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Riley and Dorothy (Harned) Owens. She passed from this Friday, August 5, 2022 at Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 75. She and Randall G. Smith married June 6, 1964 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 16, 2004. She was a CNA and a caretaker all of her life. She enjoyed helping people. She was a member of a bowling league and loved to play bingo in her younger years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Angela, and brother Henry Owens.
She is survived by her children - Gordon Smith and wife Tina, Robert Smith, Sarah Ray and husband Bill, Shirley Cavender and husband Don, siblings -Johnny Owens and wife Linda, PeeWee Owens and wife Charlotte, and Nora Brady, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.
Memorial service will be Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 10:30AM at the Waurika Cemetery with Bruce Humphries officiating.
