Harry Ray Russell

Harry Ray Russell was born March 10, 1933 in Van, Texas to Joseph Edion and Lillian Antoinette (Goodrich) Russell. He passed from this life Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in Wichita Falls, Texas at the age of 90. He served his country in the United States Air Force for over 21 years. He was a mechanic and quality control inspector. He and Oteaka Wanda Gunter were married September 5, 1953 in Big Spring, Texas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping in his younger years. He also enjoyed woodworking, and building and flying gas powered airplanes. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Terral. Harry shared his love for the Lord in song. He loved singing in the church with his wife and daughters. He and Oteaka frequently sang at the Fourth Sunday Singings.as well as the Bowie Nursing Home.

He is survived by his wife Oteaka of the home, five daughters - Debra Patriquin and husband Terry, Susan Tanner and her husband Paul, Karen Goins and husband Tim, Sharon Garner and husband Dave, and Teri Russell, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church in Terral, Oklahoma, with visitation from 12:30-2:00pm. Interment will be in the Terral Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Terral.
