Grover "Sweet Pea" Jack Dean

Grover Jack Dean was born May 29, 1933 to Walter Scott and Ruby Bell Phelps Dean at Waurika, Oklahoma and passed from this life February 14, 2001 at Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 67.
Grover Sweet Pea Dean was a heavy equipment operator. He had a special friend and life-long companion, Ethel and her daughter Freida Kay.
He is survived by three brothers: W.H. Dean of Waurika Oklahoma, J.R. Dean of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, and Billy Bob Dean of Waurika, Oklahoma; and three sisters: Betty Price of Cooperas Cove, Texas, Roberta Bush of Waurika, Oklahoma, and Virginia Mora of Waurika, Oklahoma.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church in Waurika, Oklahoma, Friday, February 16, 2001, at 2:00 PM with Tim Bowen officiating. Burial was at the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika.
