Francis Aline Cross

Francis Aline Cross was born October 19, 1955 in Ringling, OK to Bill and Ruby (Whitener) Cross. She peacefully passed away early Monday morning, March 24, 2025 at her home in Loco. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 1:00 p.m. at Crestview Full Gospel Holiness Church, 720 North D, in Duncan.

Francis attended grade school and junior high school in Loco, and she graduated from Comanche High School. Francis was raised in the Assembly of God Church in Loco and had been a proud member of Crestview Full Gospel Holiness Church in Duncan for the last eight years.

Francis spent most of her adult life doing odd jobs. She also delivered newspapers for the Duncan Banner. Later she worked for the janitorial service at Halliburton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ruby Cross; a brother, Jackie Cross; and her sister, Bertha Pennycuff.

Survivors include her sisters, Billie Burns, Loco, OK; Katy Barringer, Harrah, OK; Janie Cross and Rosie Downey, Duncan, OK; and Patricia Snider and husband Jonathan, Velma, OK; and her brothers, David Cross, Oklahoma City, OK; and James Cross and Bobby Cross, both of Loco, OK.
