Ellie Margueriette "Corky" Willison was born January 15, 1922 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to James Charles and Daisy Leona (Frank) Stanford. She passed from this life Sunday, April 10, 2022 at her home in Lancaster, Texas at the age of 100. Corky served her country in WWII in the United States Army. She and Howard A. Willison were married August, 15, 1949 in Byers, Texas. Corky worked as a social worker, telephone operator, cosmetology instructor and many other jobs but the one she was most proud of was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid reader and loved to work word and number puzzles. She also enjoyed watching westerns and knitting.

She is survived by her children - Susan Willison Price and husband Danny of Forney, Texas, James “Jim” Cecil Willison, Paula Jane Willison and Howard A. Willison, Jr. and wife Stacy all of Lancaster. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Howard, an infant daughter Sandra, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Graveside service for Corky will be Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00PM at the Waurika Cemetery in Waurika Oklahoma under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika.
