Curtis Lee White passed away peacefully on March 27, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 75. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday April 4, 2024 at the First Baptist Church in Waurika, Oklahoma with Ricky Phillips and Joshua Keele Sr. officiating. Curtis was born March 31, 1948 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Orville Lee and Frances Harriet Houston. Curtis married the love of his life, Peggy Smith on November 24, 1968. Together they had two sons, Kelly White and Dalyn White. Curtis was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grand father and great grand father. Curtis served his country in the United States Marine Corps, he served a tour in Vietnam. Once a Marine, always a Marine. He was a Jack of all trades. He worked in construction, did some carpentry work, painting, and sandblasting. In his free time he loved fishing for catfish and fighting game roosters. His grand kids and great grand babies were his world. He taught them so many things, good and bad. He was their best friend. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Frances White; step father John Michael; brother Jackie White, and 6 other step siblings. Survivors include his wife, Peggy White; sons, Kelly White and Dalyn White; grandson, Kade Gholson; grand daughters, Jade Ragsdale and husband Garrett, and Makenzie White; 4 great grand children; Olivia, Riggin, Rixtyn, and Kendrick; sisters, Sheila Elliott and husband Larry and Rhonda Hildebrand; step brothers, Bill Michel and wife Diana, Leo Michel and wife Kandi, John Michel and wife Betsy, Tom Michel and wife Jamie; step sister Mary Burden and husband Ted.
