Caroline Marie Brown was born June 16, 1916, to Lon and Bessie Peck in Comanche, Oklahoma. Caroline passed away Thursday, February 15, 2001 in the Jefferson County Hospital at the age of 84. She was a homemake and lifelong member of the Patteson Avenue Baptist Church in Comanche. She married George B. Brown April 20, 1936 in Comanche. He preceded her in death July 23, 1989.
Caroline is survived by: two sons - Charles Brown and George P. Ranger Brown, both of Comanche, Oklahoma; two brothers - Melvin Peck of Comanche, Oklahoma, and John Peck of Ft. Worth, Texas; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and five brothers.
Graveside services were held Saturday, February 17, 2001 at the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche with Randy Standridge officiating. Services were under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Comanche.
