Bobby Wayne Maness was born November 8, 1952 in Waurika, Oklahoma to OK and Elberta "Peachie" Helloms Maness. He passed from this life May 18, 2024 in Purcell, Oklahoma at the age of 71. He worked in Construction, at Nocona Boot Company, and also farmed and ranched. He and Doris Burton were married in 1978. He then married Cathy Werlines. He enjoyed coon hunting, riding horses, and giving his nieces and nephews a hard time. He is survived by his wife Cathy Maness, sister - Barbara Porterfield, nieces and nephews - Michael Porterfield, Zackary Porterfield and Cleta Hobbs, great nieces and nephews - Payton Fletcher, Madison Porterfield, Kaitlyn Porterfield, Benji Porterfield, and Hunter Russ. He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew - Ben Porterfield. Graveside service will be 11:00AM Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Ryan Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home.
