Billy Ray McManus

Billy Ray McManus passed from this life Monday, July 29, 2002, at the age of sixty-six. He was born September 21, 1935, to Clifton and Julia McManus in Waurika, Oklahoma. Mr. McManus worked as a glazier for American Glass for many years and owned and operated Bill's Auto Glass in Waurika. He also farmed and ranched. He and Betty Webb were united in marriage on April 28, 1956, in Addington, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Waurika.

Survivors include: his wife, Betty, of the home in Waurika, OK; one daughter - Shelia Wall and her husband Kenny, of Waurika, OK; two brothers - Eugene of Liapon, TX, and Clifton,Jr. of Arkansas City, KS; three sisters - Betty Kelly Hooper of Waurika, OK, Sue Durham of Waurika, OK, and June Rowe of Oklahoma City, OK; two grandchildren - Shandra Yusada and husband Paul of Oklahoma City, OK, and Jamey Wall of Waurika, OK.

Billy Ray is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Julia McManus, and one infant daughter, Tressa Ann.

Funeral services for Mr. McManus were held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, August 1, 2002, at the Waurika Church of the Nazarene with David Gordon officiating. Burial was in the Addington Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chisholm Trail Hospice.
