Benjamin Alan Porterfield was born February 10, 1982 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Rickey and Barbara (Maness) Porterfield. He passed from this life Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at his home in Waurika at the age of 40. Ben served in the National Guard and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waurika. He worked for Waurika EMS and served as a volunteer firefighter for several years. He enjoyed grilling and spending time with family and friends. He also loved to give his kids a hard time. He enjoyed helping others. He was a collector of swords and hot wheels.

He is survived by his parents - Rickey and Barbara Porterfield, his sons -Payton Fletcher and Benjamin Porterfield, Jr., daughters - Madison Porterfield and Kaitlyn Porterfield, brothers - Michael Porterfield and Zackary Porterfield, sister - Cleta Porterfield, nephew - Hunter Russ, the mothers of his children Sindi Fletcher and Staci Erwin, and several other cousins, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents - James and Joanna Porterfield and Ok and Elberta (Peaches) Maness.

Funeral service for Mr. Porterfield will be Friday, August 5, 2022 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church in Waurika with Kory Kirkland officiating. Burial will be in the Waurika Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Viewing will be from 11AM-7PM with family receiving visitors from 5-7PM on Thursday August 4th at Dudley Funeral Home.
