Alpha Fay Hall was born on October 18, 1934 to Willis (Slim) Peterson and Ida Mae 'Henderson' Peterson in Fleetwood, Oklahoma. She left this world to go to her heavenly home on June 26, 2026. She was a 1952 Terral High school graduate. While in school she loved her friends and enjoyed playing softball and basketball while being able to hold her own when the school boys were being mean to her friends. After high school, she attended secretary school in Oklahoma City, then worked until Gerald came home from serving his country. As he was coming home from Korea, he called his sweetheart of four years, Alpha, who asked him if he wanted to get married "this Sunday or next?" He said it didn't matter to him, so Gerald and Alpha Fay (Peterson) married on January 16, 1955 before moving to La Mesa, Texas to begin their married life. While in La Mesa, Gerald and Alpha welcomed Keith to the family in August 1956, then moved to Terral to start farming in December 1956. In December of 1959 their second child, Joanna, was born before the Hall family moved to Ryan January 1, 1960. In March, 1965, their third child, Anita, was born. They farmed and worked in the Ryan and Terral areas for more than 50 years while being faithful servants at the Ryan church of Christ. Alpha served as a Sunday school teacher for many, many, many fourth through sixth graders. Alpha was so proud to share Bible stories wherever she was, from the coffee shop to VBS at the church building. And if you weren't sure where to find them, you could call and find out that "Gerald was out lookin' and Alpha was out talkin'."

Alpha was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, daughter Joanna (and Randy), son-in-law Jeffrey, parents, and sister. She is leaving behind her son, Keith (and NaQuina) and daughter, Anita (and Mike), and grandbabies Rachael Quinette and family, Jacob Keith and family, Lida Fay and family, Alana Jo and family, and J.D. (Jeffrey Daniel) and family. Alpha was able to share her love of Bible stories with her great-grandchildren: Cooper, Abigail, Colbie, Aniston, Iris Kay, Hank and Walt. Funeral service will be held at the Ryan Church of Christ on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 2:30PM.

Burial will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. The family requests memorials be made to: church of Christ in Ryan, OK (701 Lincoln, Ryan, OK 73565); Camp LuJo KISMIF (lujo.camp), or to In Search of the Lord's Way; Edmond church of Christ; P.O.
