Ada Belle Ramsey

Ada Belle Ramsey, age 94, a lifelong resident of Terral, peacefully passed away on Wednesday afternoon, February 19, 2025 in Nocona, TX. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st at 2:00 p.m. at the Terral Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Terral Cemetery, under the direction of Terral Funeral Home. Viewing will be Friday 11:00 a.m. until service time.

Ada Belle was born in Marietta, OK, on August 1, 1930, to Arthur and Helen (Stephens) Hughes. She and Henry Allen Ramsey Jr. were united in marriage on August 29,, 1953. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1992. Ada Belle worked at the Ryan Nursing Home for over thirty eight years.

Survivors include two children: Jerry Ramsey and wife Sherol, of Nocona, TX, and Kathy Ramsey, of Terral, OK , and a daughter in law, Susan Ramsey of Waurika, OK, one sister--Inez Crawford of Ryan, also 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Ada Belle was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Helen Hughes; her husband, Henry Ramsey; and two sons: Bruce Ramsey, and David Ramsey.
