Margie Faye Adair was born March 7, 1939 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Eula (Fullen) and Gardener Brantley. She passed from this life Thursday, September 3, 2026 at Meridian Nursing Home at the age of 87. She and Harlan Adair were married June 19, 1954. He preceded her in death on May 19, 2019.
Margie worked as a nursing assistant for many years at the Ryan Nursing Home, Westbrook Nursing Home, and Jefferson County Hospital. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waurika.
She is survived by her children, Ray L. Adair, Robert W. Adair, and Janie K. Traylor; five grandchildren; Three great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister, Margaret Feltman and daughter, Sherry Diane Adair.
Funeral service will be Wednesday September 9, 2026 at 10:00AM at Dudley Funeral Home Chapel in Waurika with Bryce Bohot officiating. Viewing will be Tuesday evening from 5-7PM. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Byers, Texas.
