Kay Riggle, of Comanche, was born December 13, 1942, in Comanche, OKlahoma to Otto Berry and Faye Pearl (Garrett) Seida. She passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at the age of 83. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m. at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church, with Bro. Kelly Pollock officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday afternoon, August 23rd from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kay attended Comanche Public Schools in Comanche, Oklahoma. She married Edgar Riggle, Jr. on November 25, 1960 in Wichita Falls, Texas. They raised two children, Terry and Derral.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She retired from Stephens County District 3, where she worked as administrative assistant to the County Commissioner. She was active in her church helping to assist with funeral dinners. She loved to read, shop, and go out to eat with her nieces and dote on her granddaughters and great-grandchildren.

Kay is survived by her husband Junior; her sons, Terry and wife Karen Riggle of Duncan, Oklahoma and Derral and wife Jamie Riggle of Northlake, Texas; grandchildren Tara and husband Tanner Green of Duncan, Oklahoma and Rachel and Josue Chamosa of Argyle, Texas; great grandchildren Tatum and Tripp Green and Chloe Chamosa; nieces Patsy Snyder, Ella Jean Sampley, Diane Stuart, Gina Johnson, and Joy Smith, who was also her caregiver, her best friend, and her confidante; sister -in-laws Shirley Jones, Bobbie Gray, and Lil Seida;

She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Gaye Seida, and siblings Velma Jones, Coe Sides, Bill Sieda, Peggy Goff, and Jerry Seida.
