Debora Lynn Tanner

Debora Lynn Tanner was born in Nocona, Texas July 21, 1961 to Virginia & Toby Tanner. She passed away June 14, 2026 in Ft. Worth TX.

Debbie grew up in Terral, Oklahoma, she was a lifelong member of the community. She worked on the family farm with her mother until Virginia's passing. Debbie was a graduate of Terral High School and a member of The First Baptist Church of Ryan. Debbie enjoyed quilting, making wreaths and arts & crafts and she loved her dogs.

As the middle child she was full of antics & silliness. She quickly mastered the art of getting her sisters to complete the chores, tasks or work she didn't care to do.

Debbie served her community by helping with community fund raisers & dinners, baking cookies, delivering meals as well as spreading her antics & playing jokes on the ladies in the kitchen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia & Toby Tanner, grandparents, Ida Mae & Willis Peterson and nephew, Derrick Douglas Hamm.

Debbie is survived by her sisters, Myra & husband David Hamm, Connie & husband Mike Chambers along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts & cousins. Graveside service will be Friday, June 19, 2926 at 10:00AM at the Terral Cemetery with Ricky Phillips officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-7PM at the Terral Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Terral Cemetery or church of choice.
