Blanche Lou (Williams) Vallo

Blanche Lou Vallo, a longtime Comanche resident, peacefully passed away early Monday morning, September 30, 2024 at Duncan Regional Hospital, at the age of 96. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with Rocky Keck officiating. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home. Viewing will be Thursday, 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Blanche was born December 12, 1927 in Comanche, to John Edward and Ruie Katherine (Andrews) Williams. She and Louis Vallo were united in marriage on August 7, 1944 in Comanche. She spent 38 years living in Beacon, New York before returning back to Comanche. Blanche was a dental hygienist for many years. She loved cooking, sewing, reading books, studying the Bible, and getting together with her family. She was a strong prayer warrior, and faithfully attended Praise Assembly of God Church where she taught Sunday School. In earlier years she served as a Foster Mother. She also loved volunteering at Nursing Homes.

She is survived by her children: Beth Vallo, Comanche, OK; John Vallo and wife Kim, Beacon, NY; and Shirley Weintraub, Orangeburg, NY; six grandchildren: Susan Keane, Lacy Leaf, John Vallo, Jr, Anthony Vallo, Lyle Vansill, and Kaitlyn Vallo; seven great-grandchildren: Andrew Keane Jr, Thomas Keane, Shannon Keane, Hudson Leaf, Beckett Leaf, Lennon Vansill, and Jaxton Delozier; a niece, Mary Boston and husband Chris; and a nephew, Eddie Harris; and many other relatives and friends.

Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Louis; her parents, Ed and Katherine Williams; three sisters: Ruie Brown, Fern Harris, and Eddie Bartley; and one brother, John Williams;

Serving as pallbearers will be Lyle Vansill, John Vallo, Andrew Keane, Chris Boston, Anthony Vallo, and Jayson Slate.
