Michael Scott Largent

Michael Scott Largent was born August 21, 1951 in Waurika, Oklahoma. He was the son of P.C. "Cleve" Largent Jr. and Nell (Harris) Largent. He passed from this life November 13, 2025 at Hospice of Wichita Falls, at the age of 74. Mike graduated from Waurika High School in 1970. He and Becky (Schaffner) were married in November 1971 and to this union 3 children were born. He served his country in the United States Navy for 21 years including a tour in Desert Storm. He received many awards and honors in his Naval career. He and Nilda (Snow) were married July 4, 1997. They moved to Albuquerqe, New Mexico where Mike worked as a civilian at Kirkland Air Force Base. He and Nilda moved back to Jefferson County and made their home in Ryan and Mike worked as a civilian for Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. He enjoyed hunting with his father Cleve as well as fixing cars, lawn mowers, and anything else that was put before him. He was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church having 12 years of perfect attendance. He was awarded the Boy Scouts Order of the Arrow and numerous military honors including the Presidential Challenge Coin.

He was preceded in death by his father P.C. "Cleve" Largent, brother in law Randy Goodman, grandparents - P.C. Largent, Sr., Thelma Largent, James Harris, Sr., and Jerome Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Nilda Largent, mother, Nell Largent, children, Stephanie and Sean Jackson, Rachel and Mark Flores, Jason and Melissa Largent, Gina and Randy Olheiser, Bert Snow, and Duane Largent, sister, Rebecca Goodman, brother, Christopher Largent, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial service for Mr. Largent will be Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 1:30PM at the Methodist Church in Waurika with Everett Hodges and Karen Slater officiating. Family visitation will be from 2-4PM Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Dudley Funeral Home in Waurika. Memorials may be made to the Waurika Methodist Church, 438 E.
