Angela Gayle (Kirby) Jackson

Angela Gayle Jackson, age 79, a resident of Terral, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the Nocona General Hospital, in Nocona, TX. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st at 1:00 p.m. at the Terral Cemetery. The family will be receiving guests on Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Terral Funeral Home.

Angela was born February 14, 1945 in Ryan, OK to J.C. and Loyce (Williams) Kirby. Angela and Jerry Jackson were united in marriage on March 20, 1962 in Ryan. She loved to sew and embroidery, and she dearly loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children: Rhonda Smoot, Terral, OK; Kirk Jackson, Ryan, OK; and Keith Jackson and wife Donna, Montague, TX. her grandchildren: Derek, Jessica, Dakota, and Ethan; and eight great grandchildren.

Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Jackson, her parents, J.C. and Loyce Kirby; and a granddaughter, Katelyn.

Serving as pallbearers will Ronnie Duke, Ricky Duke, Jason Duke, Rusty Weatherly, Steve Gunter, Gary Don Tallon, and Barry Alsup.
