Charlotte Ann (Brown) Avens

Charlotte Ann Avens was born September 29, 1945 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Hilda (Burton) and Sam Brown. She passed from this life Friday, May 2, 2025 at her home in Ryan at the age of 79. She was a caregiver and worked for home health for many years. Her favorite things to do were collecting photos, keeping a pretty yard, dancing, and most of all taking care of the elderly. She also did volunteer work for the Assembly of God Church in Waurika. She and Clifford Avens were married December 25, 2006 in Ryan, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her husband Clifford of the home, children - Tammy Drennan and husband Bart, Brian Blevins and wife Christie, Leigh Ann Reece and husband James, Tana Renick, and Keysha Avens, brother Sammy Brown, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Carol Hamel.

Funeral service for Mrs. Avens will be Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1:00PM at First Baptist Church in Ryan with Bro. Mike Bates officiating. Interment will be in the Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-6PM at Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan.
