Charlie "Butch" Ben Barrett II

Charlie Ben Barrett II was born November 3, 1938 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Edna Bess (Coppick) and Charlie Ben Barrett. He passed from this life Friday, December 27, 2024 at his home in Ryan at the age of 87. Butch was a 1956 graduate of Ryan High School. He was a farmer and rancher for many years. Butch and Connie Montgomery were married January 25, 1963 in Marietta, Oklahoma and to this union were born two children Charlie Ben III (Chuck) and Kelly. Butch later married Lily Alvarado on March 12, 1998 in Henrietta, Texas.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Ryan, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Lily on July 2, 2024.

Butch is survived by his children - Charlie Ben (Chuck) Barrett III and wife Priscilla and Kelly Pritchett and husband John, Mark Cook and wife Jene, and Monica Weatherly and husband David, sister - Kay Branson and husband Roger, grandchildren - Cal, Bailey and husband Timothy, and Charlie Ben Barrett IV and fiance Michaela Weist, Colton, Cooper, Austin, Corban, Raegan, Stella, Blythe and husband Duane, Payton and wife Hannah, Christopher and wife Veronica, Stacey and husband Preston, and Kurstin and husband Cory, great grandchildren - Everly, Emerson, Emma, Carter, Cason, Magnolia (Nola). Gabriella, Isabelle, Abram, Yvette, Aubrey, Scarlett, Breydon, Coltan, Kale, Mila, and Baylen.

Funeral service for Mr. Barrett will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 11AM at the United Methodist Church in Ryan with David Gordon and Mark Kunkel officiating. Interment will be in The Ryan Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Donations may be made to the United Methodist Church in Ryan.
