Virginia Lee Mora

Virginia Lee Mora was born May 16, 1941 to Ruby Phelps and William Scott Dean. She passed from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the age of 83. She and Ruben Mora were married in Abilene, Texas on June 27, 1960. She spent her adult life raising her children in various states, and countries, due to their military lifestyle. She later worked as a certified medical technician, as well as was a homemaker. Virginia was unique, from her fancy nails to her straightforward personality. You knew where you stood with her - if she didn't verbalize it to you, her face sure would! She was known as the family's entertainer & would do anything for a laugh - especially for her own laugh. She loved being outdoors, "running errands," and her "babies" (the dogs), but her favorite thing was to spend time with her children and grandchildren, who all "looked just like her." She is survived by her children, Vivee Anthony and husband Billy, Guy Mora and wife Shelly, Scott Mora and wife Katherine, grand children – Casse and Jeremy Moreau, Ryan and Amanda Mora, Ian and Nicole Anthony, Tatum and Mason Wilkerson, Melanie and Roberto Ramirez Navarrete, Tucker Mora, Turner and Lauren Mora, Tallin Mora, and Jace Austin. Great grandchildren - Adam, Andrew, Pax, Emerson, Ethan, Remi, Rubi, Hayes, Rocko, Reid, and Ruben, and Arturo Navarrete due on January 16, 2025. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband Ruben Mora in 2022. Memorial service will be held at a later date.
