B.L. "Bob" Durham

B.L. “Bob” Durham was born September 16, 1935 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Delia (Carter) and Bob Durham. Bob passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the age of 89. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for two years. He worked as a police officer for three years in Wichita Falls, Texas. He then worked in wholesale plumbing in Wichita Falls and Henrietta since 1960. He was a longtime member of the Ryan United Methodist Church. He and Virginia Ann "Jenny" Durham were married May 6, 1956 in Ryan, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on February 28, 2023. He is survived by his son - Cal Durham and wife Sandy, daughter - Cathey Baker, grandchildren -Rob Keith and wife Ashley and Taylor Durham, great grandchildren - Teagan and Kenzie Keith. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jenny and his brother Floyd Durham. Graveside service will be Friday October 18, 2024 at 11:00AM at the Ryan Cemetery with Ricky Phillips officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7PM on Thursday, October 17th at Dudley Funeral Home in Ryan. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in Ryan or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
