Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Collins---Ardmore, OK

Liz Collins was born March 5, 1956 in Comanche, OK
to Oscar Lee Johnston and Edith Mabel Welch. Liz passed from this life April 9, 2023 at Mercy Hospital at the age of 67. Liz Johnston and James Kim Collins were united in marriage April 29, 1980 in Waurika, OK and again on October 7, 2017 in Bisbee, AZ. Their family increased with the birth of 6 children and 10 grand grandchildren.

She was an avid plant lover, and grew plants of all types enjoying around 300 house plants, cactus and succulents in her home and greenhouse. She loved to ride her Harley Davidson motorcycles and “being in the wind” was her therapy.
She loved her family with all her heart, and enjoyed spending time with her children and grand-children.

Her survivors include: Husband: James "Kim" Collins of their home in Ardmore, OK. Sons: James Collins of Showlow, AZ. Cameron Lee Collins of Ardmore, OK. Daughters: Stacy Phillips of Ardmore, OK. Tamera Haymes of Asheboro, NC. Brienna Holcomb of Sierra Vista, AZ. Brothers: Richard Johnston of Meridian, OK. Gene Hettle of MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Kimberly Collins.
Memorial services will be held at Waurika Methodist Church, Sat. April 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM. Family will meet for visitation at Dudley Funeral Home, Waurika 11:00-until Noon. Funeral Services will be under direction of Dudley Funeral Home, Waurika with Mike Bates officiating.
