Twila Allen Turner

Twila Allen Turner was called to her heavenly destination on July 24, 2022.  She was born on March 6, 1937 to Lloyd and Coquese Allen in Jefferson County, Oklahoma.

Twila & Ray were married December 6, 1952 in Clayton, New Mexico and enjoyed almost 57 years together until Dad’s passing in November 2009.  She moved to Edmond in 2012.  She was a faithful "mall walker" until January.  Twila enjoyed many years as a Beautician, then working in banking, ultimately retiring as a Merle Norman business owner.

Twila was a Christian, faithfully attending Church weekly, until the decline of her health in January.  She loved to cook, her banana pudding recipe was unmatched.

She is survived by children: Kim (Bill) Foraker of Denver, Colorado; Allen (Ann) Turner of Lake Havasu, Arizona and Mark (Debbie) Turner of Edmond, Oklahoma.  She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by husband Ray, parents Lloyd and Coquese, grandson Hunter and brothers Monte and Mike. Graveside services will be held at 1 PM Friday July 29th at the Waurika, Oklahoma cemetery with Kevin Rayner officiating. Arrangements are with Dudley Funeral Home, Waurika.

Pallbearers will be: Rick Chalenburg, David Turner, Bill Foraker, Bob Gandy, Reid Turner and Mark Turner
