Ruth "Granny" Elizabeth (Berry) Wall

Ruth Elizabeth Granny Wall left this life to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, May 23, 2001, at the age of 89. Services were held at 2:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2001, in the Corum Baptist Church with Bruce Humphries officiating. Burial was in Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.

Ruth was born May 11, 1912, in Comanche, to Maude and Walter Berry and lived her entire life in Stephens County as a homemaker.

On December 4, 1928, she married A.G. Boy Wall. He preceded her in death in 1975. Granny Wall was a loving mother, grandmother, great-granny. She will greatly missed by all.
Ruth is survived by: eight children, Sue McDaniel and her husband Andy, of California, Coleta Davis, Charles Wall, Bobbye Davis and her husband Harold, all of Comanche, Maudene Scot and her husband Wayne, of Hastings, OK, Pat Brown and her husband Marion, of Ninnekah, OK, and Wanda Stodsdill and her husband Paul of Yale; and a brother, Jack Berry of Waurika.
Granny is also survived by: eighteen grandchildren, Chuck, Quida, Mike, Vickie, Lisa, Carla, Beth, Robbie, Kim, Gerald, Judy, Pam, DeWayne, Kris, Angie, Buster, Brian, and Tina; thirty-six great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, and helped raise Helen and Becky Bowen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Suzie Mathis and Mae Beatty; a brother, Charlie Berry; and a son Buster Wall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may made to the Chisholm Trails Hospice or a charity of choice.
